Tired Creek Lane House Fire

PRESS RELEASE

On Monday, April 25th, at 7:49am, Kittitas County Fire District #7 firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire located at 501 Tired Creek Lane in Tumble Creek. Kittitas County Fire District #7 Engine 731 arrived at 8:05am and quickly upgraded to a second alarm to call for additional resources from around upper county.

At 8:11am KCFD7 Firefighters called for a third alarm for even more resources from Upper County. Resources from Roslyn Fire Department, Snoqualmie Pass Fire Department, Medic One along with Kittitas County Fire District 6 responded to the Tumble Creek Home under construction.

A total of 14 fire department vehicles responded: four engines, one ladder truck, one air/rehab unit, one rescue truck, one tender, one ambulance, and three command vehicles. A total of 21 fire personnel responded.

No civilians or firefighters were injured in the fire which was contained to the home. The cause of the fire is not yet determined.

The fire was called in by a passerby. If you are driving and notice a structure fire, please pull over when safe to do so and call 911 to report the emergency.
